Wednesday Weather: A Fine Day!

We woke up to a very nice day here and what we call Fall here in the deep south. The temperature stayed in the 70's today and the sky was pretty and blue with no rain to mention today.
This was the perfect day to work in the yard, but I am busy getting ready for our trip. I did sneak out there for about 40 minutes and picked up limbs and sticks and did a quick burn. They had dried out enough and went up in flames.
I figured out what I forgot to do yesterday. I did not call Fed. Ex and try to find a drop off spot for this Express package. I have asked two drivers who have made deliveries here and have gotten no help. They were both with the ground division and I need Express. The website is no help since they direct you to Dollar General in my area and they tell me that Fed. Ex has not finalized the deal. I am not going to schedule through the website because they require you to put in credit card number and this is a prepaid package going back.
I also need to take care of billing on another company that got messed up with getting a new credit card and number earlier this month due to misplacing the card. My hubby had borrowed it and swore that he gave it back to me. I looked in my car because I will slip it in the cup holder if I'm just running in at the post office and put it back in my wallet when I get home. We found my card earlier this week in his truck. So he was the guilty party after all.
I did run to town to mail off a package for an Ebay customer and got some more stuff organized for trip. Tomorrow I hope to make a quick run to the Flea Market and straighten up there before we leave.
How was your day today? Is the temperatures dropping in your area?

The weather was warm today as well as cloudy. Cool evenings are on the way. One year ago today the electrical power returned to my neighborhood around 5pm. It was a relief after 27 days without any electrical power.

@Deepizzaguy It's been borderline hot here; just depends on if you are in the sun and doing something or in the shade. I think Fall has made its arrival.

I hope you get your FedEx problem cleared up. We have a living room full of luggage that needs to be unpacked after our aborted trip. :-(

Nope, I called and my phone number was attached to a lost package, yet it said a Mr. so and so signed for it--someone I have no idea who was. It was all a recording so I just left it at that and let them hunt for the lost package. Can't get a live person on the phone so I decided to just wait for my company to answer the ticket I submitted. They are behind on everything since launching new website which has had its fair share of bugs! I'll just have to be patient.

@LindaOHio Tried that and got nothing. Customer service, nothing. Human, nothing. I'll just wait for my ticket to be answered.

@kareng Can you say "representative" when you are on the phone to get a live person?

Just my usual day at my laptop. Temps are around the 70s but still get into the 80s during the day, I hope you have a good evening,

Our temps here in Florida dropped a little today (Thursday) as the cold front swept through the area. I noticed that it will not really drop our daytime temperatures too much, but our overnight lows are now going to dip into the low to mid 60s, which is a much welcome change! I just hope it stays that way for a while. I have Disney trips planned for the next two weekends!

Yes!! We have dipped to high 50's at night and even turned the AC OFF last night. It was nice.
Sounds like I'll be following the cool weather. I just hope it is not over when I get back home. We need to capture this weather and keep it more than a week or two.

Not nearly as quickly as I would like, but the humidity is down. Though when I go out, I'm still covered in sweat. So, it's a matter of what's worse. I live in Florida, so the heat will stick around for a good while.
Enjoy your trip.

I wish the USPS would start accepting UPS and FedEx packages (and bill them for that) it would make life so much easier!

I would agree with that. Farmasi uses Fed. EX, DHL and USPS. I get my packages the quickest with USPS. If DHL gets the package they take 2-3 days to hand it over to USPS in Florida where the company is located and then I have it in 3 days once USPS gets it. Sad. Fed. Ex sends my packages all the way up the East Coast and back down to me. SMH.

In Bogota, the weather is usually very strange, in the afternoon it was very hot and now it is very cold and even raining very hard. I really feel very tired because I spent the whole day reading.
