Would you wear it?

His last will and testament:
He wanted to be cremated and his ashes be put in a locket and be given away to his friends and family. Those who loved him will get the locket to be worn every single day so they could have a piece of him wherever they go.
Would you wear it? I would if he was a dear friend or a relative.

I would wear it but without the ashes. That also would remind me of the person.

Carrying the ashes around may sound creepy.

@toniganzon Exactly, I also see this as a lack of respect. Honestly, I would be embarrassed wearing ashes while I go to the toilet.

Right. If he wants you to wear it, it means you are dear to his heart and he must be to you too. I think the person wouldn’t just randomly give it to anybody.

@rakski i would want to be cremated but i wouldn’t ask anybody to keep my ashes in a locket for them to wear. I don’t want to burden anybody who doesn’t want to.

Same here. I'm a very sentimental person and if the person I love dearly would make such request, I would do it.

I wouldn't. Not would I keep one for anyone in my home. If I got a locket from family I might keep it in my jewelry box but that's about it

No, not me. Prefer a picture locket. My Mom when she was in her 20s, Grandma & I. When my Mom first passed, I wore it all the time.
