Made some chips | Homemade snack

Cuddalore, India

I just made some quick snack to eat during the night time. It was prepared using only three things. 1. Plantain chops - Ideally chips sized 2. Salt 3. Chilly powder for spiciness Preparation procedure 1. Take the plantain chop it finely after peeling the skin. You can use peeler or knife to peel. 2. Take the finely chopped plantain and fry it in an oil. I used mustard oil though you can use any cooking oil. 3. Sprinkle salt and chilly powder as required. 4. Allow the oil to get drain. For this you can place the chips on tissue paper. Now you can enjoy the fresh and home made chips. Note: Store it in an airtight container to maintain the crispiness. Image Credit: I took this photo. You can use it anywhere.

I would once try these chips. They are at least healthier than potato chips.

Potato chips would be tasteless but in this we can feel the sweetness. Eating too much plantain chips can cause gas/acidity problem.
