I went to my apartment yesterday by bus. From the terminal I hailed a taxi in the rain, looking for something to ease the pain....oppps, no not that, that's a lyrics from a song.
I was about to book a cab but I saw an approaching ride.
When I got to my apartment. Packed everything I can grab. I only have ref, topload washing machine, 4 megabox boxes, 2 drawers, airfryer, microwave oven. The L300 was full of the other stuff I have.
My legs are now hurting. It was difficult carrying things from the 3rd floor to ground level. Too bad there is no elevator.

@cherigucchi Yes! I can always go back to the rental place if the office asks me to go back working at the physical office.

Thank you. I got a house financed through pagibig. This is better than paying monthly rent on the apartment I won't own.

What's the difference between a taxi and a cab? Here, those mean the same thing.

I went home. And since I cannot afford to pay rent monthly because I have a monthly amortization to pay, I finally gave up the apartment. But will consider to rent again in case the company ask me to go back to office. For now, I work from home.

I live in an apartment attached to my son's house. There's a loft upstairs, so one flight of stairs and that's enough for me LOL. Where are you moving to?

Oh, that might be tough to carry those stuff from the third floor to the ground floor. You did it alone or took help from someone. We have movers and packers here which will pack your stuff and leave it to the desired place and will charge accordingly.

I hired a not so big mover. The package was for them to load and unload things but I helped them out carry the other stuff because I know how they suffered going up to get my things and down carrying the stuff.

It was very difficult. If I go back to the metro, I will rent a small space at the lower floor or will look for a building with elevator. Lol

@JudyEv I was very exhausted when the last stuff I have to carry was my backpack with the laptop on it, I sigh and it was a relief, I'm done. Good bye to the room that served as my shelter for almost 3 years.

@jobelbojel I can believe it. I can't imagine I'd be able to make too many trips up and down three floors.

You are right life without an elevator is hard. So, did you move from one floor to another in your building? I can see why with all the going up and down the stairs you would feel pain.

@Hannihar I can't leave my things in the apartment that's why I dragged them out too. Sad to say, there was no lift or elevator to use.

@jobelbojel
If you moved out of the building completely why did you have to drag them downstairs? Did you not have someone help you move? I do not understand.
