That is one train of thought I am working on before I pass away.

If I may ask- is it a book, video or something different that you're thinking of?

I think it's a combination of love, good manners, financial and knowledge.

@Kotzeralot That's right, we don't want to leave them living in struggles.

@Kotzeralot I am afraid of the consequences they will have in the future.

It's totally understandable that you're worried about the future
I think we all need to be patient with ourselves ;we do the best we can and teach our kids right from wrong.
These fundamentals are crucial in our kids lives

I don't have children and I'm not likely too now. I have nephews though. What will the world be like for them in the future? I don't know. You can't see in to the future

got you
Though one can't see what the future holds, guessing is the closest thing to do.

@Kotzeralot Yes, and the guessing doesn't bring up good results.

Life is fleeting. And what we can leave behind for the coming generation is a bright future for them. We can make an impact through the endeavor we are into now. If one is into teaching, he can create a brighter and a literate society for the future. Moreover, it's also crucial that we in the present generation should take care of our environment so that the future can also breathe fresh air etc. in the future.

If we live a life of ethics our children and grandchildren will learn that. If not in their teens or 20s or 30s they follow us as they grow old. If we protest for every wrong deed or discourage it at home and in the society they take it as an example and carry it out further.

I think it's an extraordinary event where the feelings we leave behind, we don't get to feel them before we die.

That's interesting
Is there a way to preempt what our thoughts will be a second before we die?
