Is that true? ….

A rumor mill can be a wild and crazy thing. It could be dangerous and hurt a person's reputation. But sometimes it can be fun and make you curious. When you hear something you think: ”Is that true?”
I'll give you an example:
I heard that … Prime Minister Boris Johnson has about 6 or 7 illegitimate kids (children born without marrying the baby momma) but that the woman he is now married to was the last one who bore him a child of wedlock. Is that true?? LOL.
What about you? Have you heard any wild and crazy rumors that might actually true about people who are in the public eye?

Oh! So he said it. Did he admit to supporting them? Having a bunch of kids and not taking care of them is nothing to be proud of.

@LadyDuck - I am not sure I can say that about Eddie Murphy and P. Diddy. They got a bunch of kids and I'm not sure they married any of the mothers.

@cmoneyspinner He confirmed that he has 6 children. He has four with ex-wife Marina Wheeler, a daughter Stephanie, born in 2009, from an affair with art consultant Helen Macintyre and the baby with his actual wife. Only one is illegitimate after all.

By all accounts, BJ has an indeterminate number of illegitimate children (he won't say how many - perhaps because he doesn't know himself?). The most recent child was conceived out of wedlock but he married the mother before she gave birth. All that must be true because I read it in The Sun
For my part, I take little interest in what celebrities do because a] it's their lives and b] it's usually just hyped up gossip made to fill the columns of the gutter press. I did hear that little Archie's skin was {shock, horror!) WHITE but that his blood wasn't actually very BLUE at all.

Personally, as far as I'm concerned, what other people do with their lives is their business.

If what you do does not result in adversely affecting someone else's life. I mean ... if he has other kids, those are precious lives. If he is only taking care of the one kid for the woman that he married ... that's not right!

@cmoneyspinner Only he and those he may or may not be involved in, are the only ones that need to be concerned. Gosiping about it, often does more harm and makes lives harder for those involved. It doesn't resolve any real problems. Only creates more.

@kaylachan - That;s debatable. Some people don't have a conscience when they do something wrong. But other people might acknowledge their wrong or mistake and do something to right it. Sometimes it takes other people getting involved. Life is complex and complicated and there is no "one size fits all" for every situation.
Still! I was curious to know if someone was joking or if it was a true story. Most people are curious about celebrities and public figures. I was also wondering if other people had heard other wild stories and if they knew if they were rumor or fact. Just for grins.
Anyway! Somebody else clarified that the story about the British PM had been "exaggerated".

I don't know how old they are but I hope they all grow up or grew up to become productive citizens of the world. Who knows? One day, one of them might become Prime Minister.

@Ronrybs - Well! One only knows what they see and hear about most politicians from a distance. You base your opinion on what you see and hear publicly. All I can say is he doesn't seem as bad as Donald Trump.

There was a popular song back in the 80s (I think) called Rumors. It had a really funky beat. I liked it.

You are talking about Narendra Modi. Right? Come to think of it, I usually don't see many photos of him with a woman.

I don't really keep up with Boris Johnson. Have no idea if that's true but won't be surprising if it is.

It is fun if it's not hurting your love ones. With that kind of mentality, people have become so desensitized because of the survival fittest analogy. For me, I hate gossips and bad rumors. They are like bad weeds, but some prefer to channel their focus more on these things, so more weed power to them.

Yeah but ,,, that seemed like such a weird rumor to make up! Although I also heard that said about Benjamin Franklin. Supposedly he had a bunch of kids running around too!
