what do you do when you are stressed?

This year has been the most difficult year for me, because of the covid 19 attack, things are getting more and more difficult.
Hard to get a job, hard to meet people, hard to open a new business.
When I'm stressed like this, what I usually do is sleep, but when I wake up from sleep, I become more stressed because my money doesn't increase, and my dreams only become dreams in my sleep

Tv has helped me a lot, even reruns. Right now I´m watching How I met your mother. When I get tired of it, I seek documentaries specially history or wild life. I don´t have money problems. Until the pandemia started my main expense was to pay Leticia, my maid and companion for over 20 years. I could not tell her that I did not need her so much. But now she considered that she would retire. So all the money I don´t spend on her I spend in luxuries.

@arast0ry I have this big Smart TV and I have Netflix and Amazon Prime. I only watch news at the local TV which is cable and also has CNN. Leticia is fine. I call her often. She says she´ll come soon to visit but she hasn´t showed up yet.

@marguicha hehehe i think your tv still like mine, but what you have is the smart one so can connected to the internet, but i proud of people that using tv, because for me easy to watch in phone, even i work just using my phone

but if you more active here you'll get paid more right, hehehe, I know here we can talk to each other, and learn from each other, a good solution when we are stressed, it's better to talk to other people than we have to be alone, and if we are more active here we will still get paid

When I begin to feel stressed I go somewhere quiet and pray. This calms me down and assures me that I am not alone with my problems. After that it helps to keep my mind from straying by doing something creative that I enjoy. In my case it is making earrings or writing something.

I eat, take a walk, do nothing and take a rest. Sometimes, I stop using my gadgets.

@arast0ry I went to market and when I need to present my QR code, I have to use my phone but now I have my laminated QR code so I feel like I can leave my phone behind at home when I go to the market the next time....Our phone has many uses yet I realize at some point it can affect our health especially our sleep...Yes we can limit using our gadgets..

@elmer0421 yes you're right, sometime i feel i wanna drop my phone, no touch it for several days, but again, because my work in my phone hehehe, maybe i'll try once in a week

so great, avoid gadget that's good idea, but i don't know why i'm stuck with my gadget, especially my phone, maybe i work just using my phone, i see clock in my phone, i wanna talk to someone using the phone too, hehhe, but i'll try to avoid the phone even it's still difficult for me

When I'm stressed, it's often while I'm working. That means there's very little I can do about it at the time! If I have chance, I'll stand up from my desk, wander about the room and have a bit of a stretch. If I'm not at work (or after work) I might relax in a hot bath. If I'm stressed about something I can change, I'll work on changing it. Otherwise, I'll sit down with a cup of tea and a puzzle book for a while.

Welcome to myLot.
When I get stressed I usually come onto myLot and visit with my friends here. I like to tease and play and doing that reduces my stress. (I'm usually here whether I'm stressed or not. I can't see my RL friends because they won't get vaccinated from Covid. So my online friends are who I've got to talk with most of the time. *shrug*)

@arast0ry My daughter and I have been vaccinated but, since we can still catch Covid, we aren't getting around anyone who hasn't been vaccinated.
We're allowed to go anywhere we want in the US, including Hawaii or Alaska, although we don't intend to leave our house except for going to the grocery store and the doctor's office.

First of all it is not happening with you only. It is happening with lot of other people also. For this situation you are not responsible.Do breathing exercise, aerobic exercise, and regular meditation at the sleeping time and in the morning.

I usually watch comedy show like Kapil Sharma Show from youtube whenever I am pissed off or stressed. Comedy show relief me from all sort of stressful situation.

I am a natural stressed person...usualy I try to ignor my problems and hope they will just pass. Sometimes they do ??
I also listen to music and I like gardening.
