Curious about the Florida manhunt of a deemed fugitive for the killing of Gabby Petito, tried the update about the swamp search and learned about this navy seal by the name of Joel Lambert who has had evaded trackers for a television program.
Story has it Lambert has eluded even Korean police. But what is interesting for me is that line where he said the Philippine Marine 16 man contingent is by far the most exceptional trackers.....
He was amazed that the Philippine Marines, with only a flashlight, could determine his movement and direction in the jungle.
Of course! I already heard that praise when the American GI's came for jungle survival exercises with their Filipino counterparts. The Americans wore complete jungle gears with huge backpacks. The Filipinos carried only a jungle knife and survived days on end in the jungle.

Searched for the actual video. Enjoyed the story. I think it is 'kudos' to Joel Lambert for braving the Philippine jungle.

@RebeccasFarm Joel Lambert endured a tropical heat disconcerting. It's the type of unbearable nauseating heat that comes before a rain. Neither would anybody want to be caught in a jungle with that passing night storm. Let alone someone not used to the elements.
Admirable this navy seal is.

The way I see it, the culprit is not in the swamp area. He has already taken flight somewhere far.
But he will be found.

Wow, that is great praise and for them to come out with only a knife is exceptional.

Yes. The American counterparts, I believe, provided chocolate bars which the Filipino marines enjoyed very much.
