How About a Grilled Cheese Sandwich?

I really like one for lunch sometimes, so I had one today. It's not the healthiest thing you can eat with all the fat that cheese carries, but I can't resist one once in a while made with sharp cheddar cheese. Oh, yes, I must butter the sides of the bread that I am going to put into the frying pan, so that's more fat. Then, sometimes I add a slice of ham, not too thick.
But, what about the cheese? I hate paying quite a bit extra for the cheese slices, so I use my sort of wire slicer to get enough off for my sandwich. So, I have the bread thinly buttered on one side of both slices and ready to put the cheese on. Do you ever forget to turn the bread over so that the cheese doesn't go on the buttered side? I did today. Must be getting old.
Oh, when it's done, golden brown on both sides and then I like to slide a slice or two of tomato in. It adds a lot of flavor!
Writing this at 4 PM made me hungry again, but I'm resisting the urge for a rerun.

You just made me hungry! I just might need to go have a grilled cheese sandwich myself. I also like tomato on mine but we don't have any at the moment so just the cheese will have to do. I know it's not the healthiest lunch but it's not like I have it all the time.
