Peppie would not be welcome in my kitchen l would shoo him away! He would find somewhere else to sleep quickly.

We are used to cats being seen all over the place for several years now They are the cleanest among all pets. And none of us are allergic to fur if that is what is bothering you.

@allknowing ONLY have a 2000 sq ft house? That's bigger than 2 houses that I had lived in. Definitely probably 3 times bigger than the apartment I live in now. Sure, 2000 sq feet is plenty of space to find a place to sleep.

That is so cute, One of my kittens Boo Boo has learned to get to the kitchen counter and love sitting on the window sill and looking out, He moves his head back and forth as cars go by and it looks so funny,

Glad that you enjoy this. It's a cute picture. There was a very strict rule with pets in our home. They were not allowed in the kitchen or near it.

Our kitchen leads to the dining area and there are no walls. It has a back entrance.. It has the benefit of seven windows since the dining area continues.
And last but not the least no one is allergic to fur. Peppie is just sleeping.
