My student is covid positive, so sad

This morning, the sister of my student Janine messaged me via messenger that her sister my student, is covid positive. I felt so sad about this. Janine is also from Cagayan de Oro City and got no idea where she got the virus. I told her classmates to pray for her fast recovery. She should not worry about the activities and projects for I could extend them for her. She's now confined in a private hospital. It seems this virus doesn't leave humans. It's so distressing and depressing. What will be the picture of the earth in the coming years. Will life be the same again? Only God knows. Amen to our struggles. Janine is with this picture during our virtual meeting last week.

@marlina I just hope the.infection will not be severe. The opening up of some.establishments is necessary for economic reasons.

I'm sure that Janine will recover soon. I caught this virus at work last month. I was requested to self-isolate at home as I didn't have major symptoms (only dry cough). After three days, I did the test again and I was negative. When I did my covid-19 vaccine, I was sick (fever, body aches, headaches, joint paints) but when I contracted covid-19 I was surprised as I had no symptoms.

I am in the UK and in my 70s. I got the virus last month but it was fairly mild and I recovered in a week. For most of us it doesn't get too serious so try not to worry.

@cacay1 The vaccinations have prevented many deaths here. Do you have a good vaccination programme in the Philippines?

Most likely life will never be the same it’ll take time for new virus to get to the point us humans can handle on a big scale. It took generations for the flu to have less of an affect on people. The things with virus is you can get it anywhere, from anyone, from any surface at any time.

@allknowing, no idea yet where she got the virus. There's no update yet from her sister. I'm hopeful she's on recovery for next week is departmental exams, but she could request for a delayed exam. I told her sister not to worry much for the university mandated all teachers to be compassionate and resilient this pandemic. For teachers don't know the struggles of the students doing classes online.

@aninditasin , what will become to the social lives of the children WHO must not sleep. They should find ways and means removal of the virus. Then, vaccone is good for 6 months only

@cacay1 WHO cannot control the virus as the virus multiplies with the proximity of people. The more the close contact of people the more its going to spread. So the best way is to learn online and work from home.

@Vree0937, it's getting scarier everyday. People also don't like to get vaccinated because of news. Many fully vaccinated but perished. Are those manufacturers make fun of people? Vaccine should be lifetime not good for 6 months. They're money making.
