Finally Bought It.

after 5 months, I finally bought a washing machine. For 5 months, I have been using a laundry service for the clothes. I bought a Samsung inverter top loader this time around. The previous washing machine was a front-load but boy the machine was so heavy to lift and it was almost 10 years old so it is high time to retire. I never thought I will miss doing the laundry.

Congrats on your new washer. I know several people who had front loaders and hated them. Also, my mother in laws leaked and ruined her floors.

I like the front load but it is very heavy. It has actually cement surrounding the drum. But I think I am going to like this front load also

I still have my front-load, because on top of it I have the dryer, they are both 22 years old, still doing a good job.

oh wow, awesome years of service. I did not buy a dryer yet since we are in the tropics, we can easily dry the clothes. Though it is still inn my wishlist but not in my priority list

@rakski We only have a few months where it would be fine to dry the clothes outside. I use my dryer all time.

@LadyDuck yes, that is why it is much needed there. The hanged clothes can dry as fast as an hour or two depending on the wind and sun here

That's great! Washing machines are of great help to working people. Your old machine lasting for 10 years is a wonder.

Congratulations! I much prefer to have my own washer and dryer at home. It is so convenient to do clothes at home instead of loading the dirty things into the car and taking them to a laundry mat.

@rakski When my washing machine broke down four years ago, as soon as we could figure out what we wanted to replace it, we headed to the store and bought one.

@rakski There must be something wrong with my head. I remember when my laundry machines broken, we need to do manual laundry, till new one come. So I thought the same. We never used laundry service as its too expensive. Laundry consider a sport for us :-D

I love a top loader myself, and Samsung is a great brand. I hope that this machine gives you lots of good years of service.

Enjoy your new washing machine. I'm sure doing the laundry will be much easier now I have a front loader and I probably would go back to a top loader if I ever have to get a new one.
