Hi all, It's been a hot minute since I've written reviews and I've tried some cool new things so ... why not! Actually, if anyone has any idea how the nice folks who get compensated for reviews are doing it, please let me know. I just really like doing reviews. So! For the Halloween season there is this magic afoot that is known as the "dessert" mix of mini candy bars. It's Snickers, Twix, and M & Ms. But not just any, it's PEANUT FUDGE BROWNIE Snickers, CANDY BAR Twix, and FUDGE M&Ms. And they are all. delightful. I surely hope they are available after Halloween. So, usually diet drinkers get like one choice, and it's a Cola, so when I was grocery shopping and found diet (Zero) Frostberry version of Mountain Dew - I was all over that. So, to me it tastes like Cotton Candy in liquid form. It's a bit sweet for my tastes, but I really like it. And instead of being shock neon green, it's actually electric blue colored. Finally the Tripp App for Oculus (see, told you that I would be reviewing Virtual Reality moreso) - Tripp is a meditation app and it's visually gorgeous. You have a few options to choose from "Focus" gets you energized and ready for the day. You listen to a short, guided meditation and complete a very easy game. The meditation has a theme each time. Accepting help, for example is one theme. "Calm" skips the simple game and attempts to relax you. Then there are build you own experiences where you can explore beautiful sci-fi landscapes, listen to guided meditations, look inside mandalas, etc... Mildly annoying - it asks you to rate your mood before and after "focus" and "calm" activities. You can pay in 3 installments - monthly is $5 x month. Or you can pay for a year of access, or , if you really enjoy it - you can pay $35 and then you own it. I intend to do "Supernatural"'s trial - it's a workout app with a meditation feature in it - if I still like Tripp after trialing Supernatural - I will likely just buy it. Have you tried anything new lately? Official trailer for Tripp :
Based on scientific research, TRIPP helps you feel calm and focused. A regular mindfulness practice can help you reduce stress and build the resilience you n...

I started a new work in a new place that I haven't been to in awhile so every day there is something new to try. Those candy bars sound delicious. Hopefully, it will be available here in my country. The Tripp app sounds like something I'd give a try but not willing to pay for it.

@FayeHazel doing customer service for an online sports book. I do hope to find the candy but I'm not holding my breath. Will check out Tripp since there is a free trial.

Congratulations on your new job - what do you do now? I hope you can find the candy... it's tricky to find here. I think there's a free trial of Tripp if you're interested

Tripp sounds cool, but I will stick to the free meditation apps. Some of them are pretty good too.

The Tripp app does sound interesting. I think I would really like that mountain dew, especially that it is a zero sugar one. I tried their limited edition white one- couldn't figure out the flavor though!

Ooo wow, I didn't know they made a white Mountain Dew - I know, sometimes hard to find the special flavors in diet or Zero - have you seen the pink one? I think it's supposed to be Watermelon

@MommyOfEli2013 Aw, they don't make the Code Red in diet/Zero? That bites! I know they just started making the Baja Blast - Taco Bell one in diet, so that's cool :-)

@FayeHazel They have made one the past couple years around Halloween time that is white mystery flavor. I have tried the pink melon one....it's okay! I wish they made code red in zero sugar because code red is my favorite mountain dew! lol

Pretty bought some of the diet Mt Dew Frostberry but didn't like it. I won't drink any diet sodas. She does reviews somewhere online and gets paid for it but I don't know what site she uses... I can ask when she wakes up but I won't guarantee she'll tell me. We normally stay away from sites the other one uses.

@FayeHazel We used to work together on WebAnswers years ago... until she started getting pissy with people on there for no reason I could figure out. I apologized a couple of times and she turned on me... So we stay away from each other online. Have you tried the new Black Cherry Pepsi? It's delicious!

@DaddyEvil Ah smart enough to stay seperate then. That's cool you guys learn and respect each other's boundaries. My dad was mentally ill the whole time I knew him, as a part of that he had little to no respect for boundaries or privacy even in the most base sense of the word. Other than staying out of my way when I was changing (he was always "decent" as he called it) that way. Oooo I will look for the black cherry Pepsi. I was just craving cola :-)

Aw! Shucks! Did she try the pink one? It's supposed to be watermelon. Oh cool, if she does let you know, let me know. Just curious - why stay away from sites the other party uses? Is it just like a privacy thing? If so that's cool.

Thanks for your reviews. I am not a sweet lover except for the occasional piece of chocolate and I gave up soda 25 years ago or so. Yoga is about all I enjoy besides walking, golf, and racket sports.

@FayeHazel It was pretty easy to give up soda. My husband finally gave it up 6 years ago, but will have some when we go out or have company. Yes, I’m a nut. lol. I love racket sports so much. I’m very competitive.
