We visited the "best" aquarium!

My boyfriend and I joined my daughter's family on a fun road trip a few weeks ago.
We went to the largest Bass Pro Shop in America, specifically to the Worlds of Wonder Aquarium, which was added a few years ago. It's located in Springfield, Missouri, which is about an hour's drive from my home.
I visited the aquarium in 2018 and I was very impressed! I've been to aquariums in Denver, CO and Monterey, CA too. The one in Springfield is just as amazing as those in bigger cities! I just learned that it was voted to be America's Best Aquarium for 2021 in a poll conducted by USA Today.
So, if you're ever in SW Missouri, consider visiting the Wonders of Wildlife Aquarium!

Oh thanks @CarolDM. When I was a child, I loved watching the Jaques Cousteau documentaries. I've been fascinated by sea life for many years. I'd like to see every aquarium,

Oh I would have loved to see that!! Glad you had a good time.
I am not sure about this area but when I was a kid in the St Louis, Mo area we loved the zoo and the planetarium.

I loved going to the aquariums when my kids and grandsons were growing up. It is such a relaxing day and I love having the water and fish overhead. You just gave me an idea to go to one soon when the grandkids come down, or maybe even just with my husband.

@BloggerDi I don't know when that will be but with things opening now, maybe I will get there sooner than I thought. It is so relaxing in them and I love watching the young kids get such a kick out of it.
