How to cheer yourself up when your circle of friends is gone (lonely)?

I usually try to find friends through social media. Yes, even though it's not a guarantee that friends on social media can last a long time. But at least friends on social media can help a little to overcome the feeling of loneliness because they are far from the circle of friends. I believe that as a person matures, there will be a phase where we feel lonely.
How about you, is there anyone like me?

@rusmantoahmads
I have some friends outside of Social Media and friends on it. You need to have friends both on and off.

Yes, it's true, but sometimes it's hard to determine which one is a really good friend, unless it's already dealing with money (you'll see its true nature).

In social media, most people are fake. I would rather stick to my own family. For better, for worse, they're there to support you.

@rusmantoahmads I completely agree with you that it's much better if virtual friends can meet in the real world.

Though I have friends from social media and online sites, my real friends are from the offline life. I have very few of them but that's enough. I have many as personal and professional acquaintances.

@rusmantoahmads Yes, we can. We have acquaintances but to get a real good friend is not easy. So, if we get one we have to treat them as something very precious.

Hi, friend. Loneliness can even seep through even when you have a dozen over friends or more. It's a feeling and it can happen to anyone.
To make friends, join volunteer programs near to you or join activities organised by different programs.

Been there.. Done that.. Actually, you don't need to find friends on the internet.. When the loneliness cope you, You need to let your feelings out, Make yourself busy..And think that your friends will always have your back even though they are apart from you

Yes, you are not alone who experience it. I am currently experiencing it too. Often we have to learn the name of loneliness and accept it all because humans are fickle by nature. When you are not ready with the
change, you will experience alienation. it's learning to accept everything and try to do the things we can do. Believe in yourself.

Im at that phase now. We are four girls as friends since high school. The three of my friends already has their own family, husband and children. I am the one left single. Its ok, though we dont get to see each other more often now because of responsibilities. We call each other sonetimes or re connect on social media. A lot different from before.
