My dog got sick again

I don't know why. But few days ticks started attacking these two again and forced me to buy some anti tick drop for them. But after that he got sick and wouldn't eat. I had to force feed him while giving him for vitamins and anti bacterial meds. Now, he can even walk and run, even play with the other male dog.
But Mom and I had some talks about keeping one of the puppies just in case something happens to the eldest dog. He's already 8 years old only and now he's getting sick a lot more often than he used to. Makes me wonder if he's still up for the scheduled anti rabies vaccine a week from now.

I hope he feels better soon. Poor fellow! He is getting sick so frequently.
Your vet will be the right person to consult and ask for advice.

@Letranknight2015 That doesn't sound good. Everything is getting expensive these days.
Did you finally go to vet??

Some of those drops can be very bad for animals. I only use frontline or advantage when I get the drops. Try giving him a good bath and see if he starts improving.

I have use front line before and it works @wolfgirl569. THe problem is that I have dogs and can't afford to buy them all that. Good thing I was able to buy a cheaper one that works as the same.

@Letranknight2015 But the cheap stuff is what can make them sick.

That's something you'd have to talk to your vet about. If he's getting sick, then it may or may not be advised.

Here in the US, we have tick preventatives, available thru online sites and always thru your vet. Usually a small pill, I give it in a pill pocket or buried in a tiny piece of cheese. I do the same with the heartworm medicine given monthly. Ticks kill. They carry diseases. If available in your country, get the preventatives and give them faithfully as instructed. It gives your pet a better quality of life and they will live longer.
