Enjoying my lemon and ginger tea...

Good evening from this side of the planet. It's 6 PM here and the sky is full of dark clouds. It might pour anytime. Glad that the day was dry. It was usual Monday. And I made it a bit hectic by doing deep cleaning of kitchen pantry and my younger daughter's cupboard after my school work got over. And in the morning break, I had to go to drop my younger daughter to her school. Husband picked her up in the afternoon and that saved me from driving in the traffic again. Here I am with my lemon and ginger tea. Husband can not join as he is busy with meetings and calls. I handed him his cup and here I am in my balcony to enjoy mine in peace. I will leave mylot for some time, enjoy my tea and finish few other things. I will catch you later after my dinner. For now let me enjoy my tea staring at the beautiful dark clouds. Leaving you with the picture of this beautiful hibiscus from my garden. It was clicked few months back and I spotted it in the gallery. Isn't it a gorgeous colour..a blend of red and pink. Enjoy mylotting

It's gorgeous and my favourite one but it doesn't bloom frequently like the other varieties of hibiscus in my garden. I really needed that quiet time. I sipped the tea while it poured outside. Glad the rain stopped in an hour.

Yes, they do boost our immunity and help us fight cold and cough. Ginger is soothing for sore throat and lemon is full of Vitamin c.

@Nawsheen Yes, it is. And it is advised for weight loss too. I avoid it as I am on the lower side of weight. I am in healthy range but on lower side and being diabetic,it becomes challenging for me to gain weight, I have managed the same weight for last decade.

We never take flavoured tea. We take regular one and we add fresh ginger and lemon to it. It adds the flavour and also boosts our immunity.

But this one doesn't bloom frequently like the other varieties of hibiscus in my garden..this one is rare beauty
