Cacti + Pricks = Indigenous Tattoo

In the cordillera areas in my country, some of the local tribes still do tattooing. It is not in a modern way because they use the indigenous way by using cacti pricks. Imagine yourself being tattooed in the village like this. They use charcoal for inking the skin. As you can see in this photo, Fang-od is the oldest 'mambabatok" or a person who does tattoos on people's bodies. She is using a bamboo stick with a thorn.

No, thank you. I don't like pain. I had enough fun getting pierced. I'm not about to get tattooed.

@Shavkat Would you like to have your nips pierced? That didn't hurt very much but I held a frozen can of juice on my nips before they were pierced to lessen the pain. It worked.

Oh no, I wouldn't want a tatoo, no matter how it's done. This way seems to be much more painful than what I've been told was done to those people I know who have tatoos.
