Black Cherry Pepsi

Have you ever had black cherries? This soda reproduces that flavor pretty well.

I mostly quit drinking soda last year. Since she only drank one, I'm having to step up and get rid of these for her. (One a week isn't too bad, though.)

@CarolDM It has to be mine, too... Much as I dislike it.

I don't drink soft drinks often. When I do, I prefer Mountain Dew.

@DaddyEvil Water is my go to these days.

Then you should complain... The Black Cherry soda made by Pepsi is good. (I don't drink Pepsi or Coke. They both taste bad to me. I prefer Mountain Dew Code Red when I drink soda.)

@DaddyEvil They can;t compete with other brand here, including "the KIng" coca cola. We had green fanta, tough. I did not drink soda much, so can't recall that green ones taste

@Vree0937 Once in a while I can find Green Apple Fanta here but it isn't in the stores very often. I like it, too.

@DaddyEvil or maybe they know that nobody would buy it here. Coke is more popular here than Pepsi actually.

Oh, wow! Pepsi Co must be hiding them from you! Maybe they're scared you'll like it too much?

Wild Cherry Pepsi tastes too much like Pepsi. The Black Cherry doesn't taste like Pepsi at all.

Come by and have some. I'm certainly not going to help her drink the Cream Sodas.

It tastes like Cream Soda, is my guess. I've never liked it so don't drink it.

@rakski Uh huh... I'm not supposed to drink soda anymore but still will drink one once in a while... Pretty bought 12 packs of the Black Cherry flavor and a 12 pack of the Cream Soda... If you'd like, I can hide a few cans of each and save them for a time when you and your hubby come to visit us.

@DaddyEvil we do not have those flavors here so I will not be able to taste it and besides I do not drink sodas anymore

Walmart here only sold it in the 12 pack cans... Pretty only wanted one to try, so the rest of the 12 pack is mine. (I've had two of them since Friday, which is a lot of soda for me in one week. I normally only drink one in a week, if that much.) There are two different types of Pepsi. One has cherry flavor added to the Pepsi itself and they do have that out in diet. The flavor I'm talking about is actually Black Cherry but without Pepsi in it. It is just the Black Cherry flavor.

@DaddyEvil Thanks for clearing that up for me. So, I had the Pepsi one with cherry in it and it is diet.

I'm not supposed to drink them but, once in a while, I still will. You'd probably get a sugar-high if you drank a can of soda now. I can just see you running around like a kid, talking a mile a minute until the sugar wore off.

@arunima25 Oh, yes, a lot of parents won't let their little kids have soda because of that problem... but it's hard to get grandparents to resist when a little kid begs for soda and sweets.

@DaddyEvil I am as such a hyperactive adult. That would definitely make my energy out of control I remember something similar happening to my younger daughter when she got high dose of sugar. . It was tough to control her after that and we would be totally exhausted by the time she got tired and sleepy

OMG! I used to LOVE Nehi Peach but haven't found it in stores in years! I did find a generic peach soda at Price Cutter that I like well enough. (What is the brand of the peach soda you like?)

@DaddyEvil Its an off Brand at the Kroger or Harris teeter it's Kroger here though it's Kroger brand and really good I love the nehi peach in the bottle as well this is in the can

This Black Cherry isn't a flavored Pepsi. It is just Black Cherry. It's delicious!

@ThatDisha It might not be available there... or Pepsi wants to save all of that flavor for me since they know how much I like it.

It is supposed to be sold in diet varieties in some parts of the US. We just couldn't find it here.

This isn't a flavored Pepsi. It is just Black Cherry...

This Black Cherry soda doesn't have any cola in it. I love Black Cherry drinks, too.

@DaddyEvil It sounds like my black cherry sparkling drink. It has no cola or sugar but it comes in a bottle.

After I had one I realized it was only Black Cherry soda made by Pepsi. The same with the Cream Soda...

I'm not supposed to drink sodas at all. I'm pre-diabetic. I will drink Mountain Dew Code Red about every two weeks or so, though. (I only drank some of the Black Cherry soda because my daughter bought it and won't drink more than a partial can. We could only find 12 pack cans...) When I drank sodas all the time, I also drank Nehi Peach but can't find that anymore.

Pepsi has a number of different flavors. Some are okay but I prefer Mountain Dew.
