Because we are all so very conscious of our health nowadays, I decided to have my blood chemistry taken at a nearby laboratory. It was my first time to have it there because I am still in paranoia going to the hospital because of the high cases of covid-19 in our place. But anyway, after a few hours I got the result. I immediately took a photo of it and sent it to my doctor via messenger. She called me as soon as se saw my message and told me that she saw red flags all over my result. She was most concerned about how high my lipid profile was: total cholesterol, triglycerides, ldl and the hdl. She prescribed medications and advised me to exercise more, at least 3x a week for 30 minutes. But if I could do it daily, better. She also told me of the foods I am supposed to eat and those foods to avoid. Those food may be the cause why my cholesterol soared. I should make changes in my diet and lifestyle if I wanted to be healthy. What about you, what changes or efforts are you making to ensure that you will be healthy?

Gladly the red flags were detected earlier enough. I bet you get well after the medication

Take the doctor's advice seriously. It could mean your life. Had my executive physical check also. Now I have a food diary. I also exercise to get the blood circulation going.

When I got sick a few months back, I was so conscious of doing exercises and eating healthy foods lately.

I am a diabetic with type 1.5 diabetes. I live a disciplined life to manage my diabetes with diet and exercise along with healthy lifestyle. Good that you got the flags early and now you can manage it. One should get a regular medical check up. By the time symptoms start showing, it is too late.

Hope you take good care of your health, okay. Eat your medicine and exercise regularly. I need to remind myself to have a healthy balanced diet too.
