Phone Chargers

On the discussion about the Apple products in particular I am very amused to the point of disgust with their latest decision to exclude the chargers from their iPhone packaging on environmental friendly issues.
Now here's the thing, there is no way for us to charge the phone with our existing chargers being that the other end of the cable included is not a USB one but a Type C one which you either have to buy it directly from Apple for the original 20W fast charger 220RMB or go to another phone accessory shop and get a 3rd party Type C charger averaging about 65RMB for a decent good one. What do you think here? Another rip-off?
On the issue about environmental issue, I don't find anything eco-friendly here where chargers will still have to be manufactured here. So how can the number of chargers still be reduced in numbers here? I am sure everyone will remember how well the iPhone 5 chargers (faulty) have been where it killed quite a number of users - I sure wouldn't dare any 3rd party chargers here.
Also how can it be environmentally friendly when more boxes have to be produced for packing these charger to be on sale for users who buys the new phones and fast charge their phones. Tell me.

Apple phone users trap themselves into paying too much money for an okay phone. It's not Apple's fault if they see a way to make people with too much money pay for accessories for their too expensive phones. If you can afford the phone, then you can afford to waste more money on accessories to make that phone work. *shrug*

I may agree that there's some entrapment by Apple but I don't agree that users are intentionally getting trapped - no none at all. To many non iPhone users everyone just simply thinks its just a phone but unlike the Android phone they have their own unique eco-system. Likewise, will Samsung users cross over to Nokia and Motorola at a blink of an eye? It's cultural and every switch requires a very considerable amount of time.
Guess what?
Other phone manufacturers are following Apple's footstep too. Copy cat "killers" - I think so.

@artemeis I switched from Samsung to Motorola after Lenovo bought out Motorola. I liked the MUCH longer battery life and the MUCH cheaper price tag. *shrug*

Well Apple's latest iPhone 13 does have a very impressive performance where the battery and storage capacity is concern - you would be amazed by their seamless data transfers from one device to another be it a tablet (iPad), laptop (MacBook), work station (iMac) or another iPhone (new) - talking about backups or moving data from an old device to a new one. You can even have free cloud storage for up to a month to move your excruciating extensive list of things. Up to 1TB of storage capacity (not many phone companies have such a huge memory capacity).
