I broke down and turned the heat on yesterday

The apartment felt cold to me. I checked the thermostat and the inside temp was 68 but that just felt too cold for me. I turned on the heat and set it to 70. That is where it still is. The furnace was running often yesterday but I've barely heard it today. Fine with me! That is easier on my bank account.
Have you turned the heat on yet?

Here in Florida most houses don't have the heat option but at least now the temps are comfortable and I don't need AC when it gets colder then I have to dress warm

We did turn the furnace on this week. It was cold outside this morning, around 23 degrees when I left for City Park. There was ice on the truck's windshield.

No. I keep my house around 75 degrees, and I turned the unit off about three days ago. I haven't had a need for either.

We've had the heat on for quite some time. My husband gets cold. I have my ceiling fan on right now because I was too warm. Go figure.

My heat has been on for a couple of weeks now. I have it set pretty low, though: 65 in the day and 67 at night. Clothes are cheaper than the monthly gas bill, so I’ll just schlep around the house in sweatpants.
