Happy Diwali to Everyone!!!

Hi guys, Hope you all are doing good. I am doing good too. Today is the festival of Diwali celebrated in India. Many decades ago, when lord Rama had returned from the forest to his home, the people of village had lighted lamps for his welcome. From that day on, the festival of lights Diwali is celebrated on a huge scale in different parts of India. Since last few years, people weren't allowed to celebrate because of Pandemic. However, this time, permission is given to celebrate in India. On this day, in morning people get ready in festive clothes and visit temple. After which they go to friends, family and relatives place for wishing them. Sweet and dry fruits boxes are exchanged with friends and family. A lot of traditional sweets like Gujiya, Gulab Jamun, Burfis etc are made at home and ordered from outside too. In late evening, people light diyas and burst different types of firecrackers to celebrate the festival with friends and family. Also flowers garland are decorated in home and fancy lights are kept too. Rangoli is made outside the home with different colours. Happy Diwali to everyone here. Have a good day. Take care!!
