Flipping with my flip phone

This morning I realized that my flip phone needed to be charged. I so rarely use it. So I checked who might have called me lately. Besides spammers. And while doing that apparently I called my daughter. She lives states away from me. We talk maybe five times a year. Daughter actually called me back!!! We had a wonderful friendly chat. Just shot the breeze for a few minutes. That was a drink of cold, sweet water for me. Her work is allowing her to do her duties at home cause of the Pandemic. She is delighted. Saves her two hours a day in not commuting in rasty traffic; saves her gas money, wear and tear on the car. My weather is gray, blustery and damp. I am a happy spoiled camper cause I go out, care for the birds and duck back into the house. NO driving duties for me today. Yesterday we had stuff to do in town that lasted much longer than we wanted but today?? Nope. Staying home. I am grateful for daughter's voice today. I am grateful to have this year's Yule Tale in hard copy now. I have begun assembling that. I will begin writing addresses on manilla envelopes soon.

Do you engage with the spammers when they call you? You could record it like JJ does and have some good fun.

@sallypup Me, too. My phone tells me which ones it considers spam and I just ignore them.

@andriaperry Oh Lordy. Angie's back. Now my day is complete. Sure good to see you here. I have a very low ability with tech. I make my mean flip phone use it for a phone and that's it, folks. No texting from me. My car has an engine computer but otherwise nada on tech. Nada on GPS. Its all up to me when it comes to getting me safely home.

Son would call me back, but frankly I am tired about hearing how great Brazil is every time he calls. It gets on my nerves. Umm, did he ever think about asking about anyone else..? It must be nice to be able to stay home when the weather is bad. I guess I am used to it.

It is very good to work from home, I did it for two months due to the pandemic too.

There are days that husband acts like he would be happy if he were still with a flip phone. However, he uses his phone so much more than I use mine and for a much wider range of activities. So, I think that he protests far too much.

Good day at home sounds like then Lenore, rest after yesterday. So nice you got to speak with daughter. That is the way it should be..why do they have to go into an office when they can work at home. Ridiculous..wish they would change all that for good. It would also be better for the environment.

I'm glad you got to talk with your daughter. Our weather has improved some. It will be 49 today and partly sunny. By Tuesday it will be up to 64!!!! Every day like that is one less day of cold and possible snow! I'll take it.
