Got my Moderna Today

I made an appointment a few days ago at CVS to get my Moderna booster. I expected to see people waiting in line but to my surprise, There wasn’t a single one. The nurse was adept with giving injections. I Actually didn’t feel the needle go into my arm. I’ve done everything I can now to avoid the covid or passing it on to anyone else.
While we were out we stopped at the Dollar Tree. I needed birthday cards and looked for picture albums but found none. My son stopped to buy our meal at the window and we came back to the apartment to eat. I had plenty in the refrigerator but he wanted to stop and order.
I had baked a cake so we had cake and butter pecan ice cream for dessert. Afterwards I thought about taking a walk but the cold wind was whistling so I changed my mind. I did walk to the mailbox and took in an arm load of mostly junk mail.Now I’m thawing out and mylotting. Hope you had a good day.

We go to Walmart here on the 18th for our booster shots of Moderna...
I like Dollar Tree. We buy candles and, sometimes, hardcover books there, if they sound interesting.
We have to go shopping later.

I need to get my booster shot, and also schedule Little Miss to get her first shot.
Haven't been to the Dollar Tree in a long time. Was thinking about going in to get a leg up on stocking stuffers, but decided not to just yet.

@RubyHawk maybe I will venture out tomorrow. I do need a couple of craft items that I cannot find at Walmart and they may have them there.

We won't be due for a while for our booster shots, they are just starting to roll them out here for the olderly population and those with severe health issues.

@Deepizzaguy Today Saturday, It was 35 degrees this morning. I bundled up and got my walk about 2oclock. It had warmed up a bit.

It's good that you've had your booster. I don't look forward to shots, but I plan to have mine once it is time to do so. My husband has already had his, but he also was eligible to get vaccinated before I was.
You are fortunate to have such a good relationship with your son.

@RubyHawk One dose made my arm sore and made me dizzy. The second wasn't quite as bad. Don't know what the booster will do.

I was wondering why the lines at my local grocery store's pharmacy were so long, and then I realized people are now getting their booster shots! I plan to get mine as well, but they say to wait six months after you get the initial shots, so I won't go until the end of January for mine.

@RubyHawk I thought I read somewhere recently that another bad wave of the virus was starting to hit Europe again. I'm wondering if we're every going to be through with this.

I had my booster about a month ago---and my flu shot!!
I stopped at Dollar Tree Thursday---because the cruise ships are back in business it was jammed packed with crew members!!
