Another Pretty Day

It’s a bright shiny day and leaves continue to fall. I’ve seen no pretty colored leaves and I’m thinking few leaves will be left. But I haven’t been out any distance from my apartment to check. In an hour or so I’ll go out for my walk by the creek and on the back trail. While on my yesterday’s walk I saw people grilling and picnicking in the field behind the leasing office. It was cold but they seemed to be having fun. Kids were running around playing ball. I have to keep moving when I’m out or I will get cold. You guys enjoy your day. I’ll be back later.

@rubyhawk My entire neighbourhood is lying under a thick blanket of red and yellow leaves. I’ll have to make the most of the prettiness before we move on to winter.

I do dress warmly, sometimes too warm by the end of my walk. My picture isn’t clear enough but it’s where I walk most days.

I’m back from my walk and it was very enjoyable. I walked about an hour so I am a little tired. I went by the mailbox but it was empty.

Usually I see a few people when I’m out considering I live in a large apartment complex it’s almost impossible not to see people. But saying that, I don’t often see anyone on the trail by the creek.

@JamesHxstatic It’s somewhat isolated. but if I don’t walk there I must walk in the parking lot and dodge cars going in and out. Which I do walk there to finish my walk.

@RubyHawk I also do not like to stand still when it is cold outside. I remember I used to see people in winter wearing shorts. There are those that winter does not bother them and others it does bother.

@marlina Absolutely, If I walk fast I can work up a sweat and I did today. I came home and sat out on the deck until I cooled off.

That's different for this day and age, I never see kids playing outside like I used to do when I was a kid. I'm glad at least some do play outside instead of fixed on ipads or iphones or such.

It was unusual to see kids out today. I think most kids are inside on their electronics.

@sinari That’s great that you have covid protection. I can’t imagine a place where there is no flu. We always have flu during the winter. You probably have sickness that we don’t have.

@RubyHawk I didn't wear a sweater. I had like a long sleeved jersey under a T shirt and I was fine. I think the next few days it will be T shirt weather actually.

When we were out over the weekend, it seemed like the leaves were fading fast. At least, that was my impression, since we'd been through the same area the previous weekend. Although, we were farther north than where you're at, so it's to be expected.
