Hello mylotters , how are you all? Saturday is the day to have a laid back approach to life and maybe prepare some good dishes and indulge in them. I want to bring to your notice this lemon that we have in and around my provinces. They look bigger than the regular ones as you can easily see from the pic, but the selling point is its fresh and mildly sweet fragrance that diffuse the room or kitchen if you keep it in halves. If you squeeze a bit into your rice filled with water (if you ever had such a food ), you can have some heavenly savoury and aromatic rice dish.

This one is different from what we can buy here. We have calamansi as our lime.

I've seen kafir lemon trees in some nurseries during our searches of rare plants and trees to grow in our garden. Instead, we have 3 varieties of comquat trees. I'm curious now about kafir.

Dish lesson learned. Thank you. Won't the rice taste sour? But I think I'm going to try that.
