I had the time of my life as the 'Cream of the Crop'

I was one of the first batches in my current company as an Office-based ESL Teacher and we were called the cream of the crop at that time. For the reason that we do excel in this chosen career. After a few months, I decided to resign and work at home. I re-applied as a Home-based ESL Teacher. I am humbly saying that I am still one of the best assets, but not happy with them anymore. Before this pandemic, I do want to work offline in an international NGO. With this current situation, I need to put on hold this idea. What makes you put on hold something in your life? Have you experienced being the cream of the crop in a particular situation? Image Credit: lh3.googleusercontent.com

No, I've never been listed as a cream of the crop. What does ESL and NGO stand for?

ESL stands for English for Secondary Language and NGO stands for a non-government organization.

If I myself delay something in my life it's not good, because opportunities usually don't come twice in our lives.

I do agree with you. It is also my persona not to give up easily and I do like grabbing the best opportunity that will come along my journey in life. By the way, welcome to myLot!

Yes, I experienced that when I was still working on BPO. But now that I'm a full-time writer, it's harder to be tagged as the cream of the crop because of many competitions.

@Shavkat You can if you want to. Start with creating a blog. That will serve as your writing sample for your future clients. You can keep on practicing while waiting for them to come. Good luck!

@cherriefic I do have my blog site but stopped in years now. I have been a writer with some local government agencies here in my city.

I am curious about being a full-time writer. How can I jump into this career path? Would you mind walking me through? Thanks.

Well, I consider I have cream of the crop in me everyday. However, putting the thoughts into action will not always happen.

I also have some times that I cannot do anything in one sitting.

I think COVID has caused many people to have to reconsider their options.
