I don't understand what you're saying

This may be because we have different perspective of things, or have different beliefs, that's why some people tend not to understand you. However, understanding people that have different views from our own does not mean you can turn a blind eye or a deaf ear. Understanding people even if they're unlike you, is being broadminded and open-minded. One can never grow if he/she fails to open his mind to new ideas or updated methods. Traveling can allow you to meet people from all walks of life and 'educate' you that there are various ways you could learn. Your thoughts on this?

@Jenaisle A long time ago, I could speak a little Spanish, and because I was able to communicate a little, I got a raise, on my job.. I cooked at a fast food restaurant, and they could not speak English.

Working in different jobs that force you into contact with people from all walks of life can also broaden your perspective quite quickly, also. Traveling isn't really required.

I agree. Even in your daily interactions, you can learn many things. But I would have never learned to buckle my seatbelt in the plane if I haven't traveled, and use the foldable table. Believe it or not, I seemed like a dummy trying to find out how I could make the thing work. Simple things but I have learned some.

@Jenaisle Growing up, we were raised up with a lot of different people, we all learned from each other.

We should learn to respect each others opinions if we want our opinions to be respected

You hit the nail in the head. The Golden Rule also applies in this case.

I am always putting myself in the middle. I do not want to argue as much as possible with others.

As a Libran, I want to keep the peace too at all times. There's nothing wrong with that.

@Jenaisle Unless they insulted me deliberately or attacked me below the belt, then that is another story to deal with.

Yes, that is true. Understanding goes both ways. The listener and the one talking have to switch roles too, at some point.

Yes, sometimes, I think that I'm always right, but there are always two sides to a coin.
