What kind of soup to make?

December 1, 2021 5:06pm CST
My wife’s a little under the weather and I want to make her soup. Soup always makes you feel better! But I’m tired of making instant ramen or chicken soup. What about you guys? Are there any other soup you can recommend that would make someone feel better?

Depends on what's wrong. If it's cold or flu symptoms, chicken broth is usually the best medicine. Aside from that, just ask her what she's in the mood for.

@NatsuYeung The porridge is really good, especially with the addition of carrots and shredded chicken!

We don’t usually have porridge and I’m not sure about making them. But that is a good idea. My mother used to make rice porridge sometimes

There are a lot of options to choose from , there are ready to cook soup available in groceries and some selected stores all you have to do is to mix it with water and let it simmer , another option is to make soup from scratch like green leafy vegetables added and some other veggies too. Asian countries has a lot of list of soups good for making ones health good in a way. Chicken tinola for example makes a perfect soup .

Love chicken tinola. We use instant noodles a lot. Like Maggi from the Asian store so I’m looking to make something from scratch

I never make soup my hands I always get canned soup or ramen to hear up. Depending on why I’m not feeling good I might not want to eat soup or have soup at all.
