December 4 - What I'm Thankful for Today

Today was very good!!! I wish I could say all my notifications are caught up, but that's not the case. I'll just need to work on it more tomorrow. Time to get other things done.
I'm thankful for the wonderful night's sleep I got. Even with how late I got home last night and went to bed at 11:30 PM, I got 7 hours of sleep getting up at 6 something.
I'm thankful for the shopping I did this morning. Okay, what's your addiction? Can you see mine in the photo above? That's a full shelf of tea plus the four new boxes I bought today - Christmas Tea, Gingerbread Joy, Winter Spice, and Peppermint Cheer. You know I don't need more tea, but these are for Christmas. They won't last. I might need to get more so they last through the season. Oh, I also have three canisters full of tea. I just can't resist tea. I have enough to last through the next several years.
I'm thankful for those bananas you see on the counter. I was out. I need my banana fix.
I'm thankful I got the tickets for the Botanical Garden's Garden of Light event going on until January first. My son's girlfriend agreed to go with me. I can't wait. I had so much fun the last time I went. This is the 25th anniversary of the Botanical Gardens. They added many more light displays. This year I'm taking the walking tour, not the wagon tour, so my pictures won't be blurry.
I'm thankful for Coral with her suggestion of how to save money. I employed it this morning and gave myself an allowance, transferring money from checking to PayPal.
I'm thankful for my time here visiting with all of you. I really enjoy my visits with you. You make my day brighter.

Even though I'm not much of a tea drinker those flavors sound really good. I always have peppermint tea handy as if helps with an upset stomach.
I'm sure you'll enjoy the lights at the Botanical Gardens.

The last time I was there, I was so heavy, I couldn't do it. I needed to do the wagon tour. Now, the wagon tour is interesting. They have a team of horses pulling a haywagon. It's fun, but it goes too fast to take decent pictures or really get to see everything at leisure. With all the weight I've lost, I can do the walking tour and really enjoy it this time, and get pictures that aren't blurry.

Your new variety of tea flavors sound wonderful! Gingerbread Joy, sounds inviting:) I'm thankful that today is over and tomorrow can be a brand new beginning! Botanical Gardens is great entertainment.
