This trick could be old news but it was new to me. An app on my tablet I use needed to send a confirmation link to my cell number for verification. The problem is my cell phone is a flip phone model and so links aren't clickable. When I simply typed the link in my tablet browser that didn't work. I googled if a text can be sent to an email and yes that could be done. All I had to do is forward the text to my email address instead of a contact and it worked. I got the text in my email on my tablet, clicked the link and my app verification went through. :) hooray!!
