I know, I know, I haven't been around - but I got tired of not being able to respond to discussions... But I got a response to an 11 year old discussion and was able to respond, so I'll try again for a bit. What's new? I'm down to 8 cats and the wife is starting her second month in the hospital.

She's even prettier now, that was taken right after we got her and she still looked a little scruffy. She was spayed in October so she'll stay kitten-y for a long while. She's still pretty small, but she's only just past 6 months now.

I sure hope you're gonna stay. JJ has taken a sabatical from everything interwebby, Owlwings and Pyewacket have both passed on to the next plane... On a personal note, my left eye has "missing pixels" and my right one has macular degeneration, so I haven't been doing much cross-stitch at all. If the light is good and my eyes aren't complaining, I'll put in a few stitches on the one I started last year.

I knew about Pye

and I saw that Owlwings had also passed over because after successfully responding to my 11 year old discussion, I went to the suggestions where I saw JJ post both about him and how he was also going to take a break. My eyes aren't giving me too much trouble, but my hands aren't real happy. My right little finger decided to act up right after everything shut down in 2020 and I have had to baby it ever since. So, pretty much any stitching I've done has been in waiting rooms at doctor offices, mostly my wife's appointments that I couldn't go back to.
