Our garland is now in place

I’ve written a previous Christmas about making a garland for the front door. I used a length of flexible hose and formed it into a circle then twisted tinsel round it. It worked out well and I wanted to do something similar this year.
However, I must have left the circle behind when we moved. Vince was able to make another circle using some black reticulation polypipe and you can see the result in the photo.
There are some very lovely commercial garlands hanging on some front doors but I’m very happy with this one. Have I told you I’m pretty cheap? Or maybe you guessed it.

I like the design. They are colors of the Christmas.

Yours is very pretty. I would rather have it instead of the bought ones

@JudyEv Many are plastic anymore so you can put them away until the next year.

That's a beautiful garland. Doesn't matter if it's cheap as long as it lasts a long time.

You're crafty, and That is amazing. I would never have thought it was hand made.

Yes, I made it. I just covered some tubing with different colours of tinsel.

Uhm... saying you're "cheap" doesn't sound very good... You should consider telling people you're "frugal" instead. That doesn't carry the same connotation as calling yourself "cheap".

@kobesbuddy That would have been very effective too. There are probably dozens of ways to make wreaths without spending a fortune.

@LindaOHio You still have a couple of weeks. Once the decorations go up, it starts to feel a bit more like Christmas.
