Stormy Weather….

Not the song.
There are tornado watches that stretch from Tyler, Texas to as far north as the Missouri/Iowa border and as far east /north east as Lexington, Kentucky.
That includes me. And a lot of friends.
So I have the weather radio on, the weather radar pulled up, and — as you can see — a lot of live coverage across the watch area (including Missouri and Arkansas).
The weather casts have been talking about this for almost a week. Unfortunately, they will have to deal with a lot of angry e-mails and phone calls about how such-and-such a program is being pre-empted.
I don’t understand people griping about that. One, you can stream just about any program online. Two, and more importantly, if a tornado hits your area and kills you it won’t MATTER if the program was on or not, will it?
I’m praying everybody has heeded the warning.

@FourWalls Safe for now. Tornado watch of course lots of wind all night and still more coming. Glad you are safe. Scary stories.

So far so good here. However, a nursing home in Monette, Arkansas took a direct hit from a tornado.

They'll get over it. Storms happen, we don't control those. Those idiots who see fit to complain, should be thankful we have a warning system.

@FourWalls If the cans aren't made of metal, I can use them. I'm Orthodox Amish and we can use metal wagon wheels and pitch forks but that's all.

I saw this AM 70 are missing and posted about it. Waiting to see if they are going to show up in Virginia...I would not be surprised at all.

We had "Watches" going on here around noon today. Pretty and I went out on our front porch to see if we could see anything interesting... Unfortunately, when we moved three years ago, we lost our prime viewing area. All we can see now are the trees surrounding us and the sky directly overhead. It was storming and nasty outside so we came back inside. (I went to sleep. I'd rather, if a tornado takes me out, to be asleep. *shrug*)

Hope you are safe and sound. Had that stormy weather go through; but didn't even hear any thunder. We are supposed to get 70 mph winds here at the lake shore. Take care.

Those are nothing but live streams of TV stations covering tornado warnings in various parts of the country. No special app or program at all.
