Well, I hate to say this but if all of us are not going to recognize this virus along with the latest Omicron strain, co-operate and fight together as one against this pandemic - we are really going to suffer the consequences and pay the eventual price with our lives. Virus are like us humans will strife to survive whatever we put up against it. This is a fact and if we are not going to pay any proper attention and deals with it - all I can see will be a virus becoming more invincible. Do you still want to regard this to be some conspiracy theory? Reference:
Nurse Katie Sefton never thought Covid-19 could get this bad -- and certainly not this late in the pandemic.

This virus is real, it is dangerous, it fights to get stronger and survive the vaccine, people are still underestimating. Now how everything started is still a mystery, two new studies, awaiting publication in the journal Nature, suggest that SARS-CoV-2 may not have originated in China

@askme123 I fully agree with you. They still know nothing, they are going through trials and we are the Guinea pigs for the vaccine, that is showing not to be effective, as we have many more cases now than one year ago when the vaccine did not exist.

@LadyDuck the sad thing to this is that many people with underliying illness would be alive today if they didnot take it. We know we all going to die one day but why speed it up.

Now this just shows that they not sure what the heck they are doing If you dont know the actual orgin and composition of this virus how the heck you gonna make something to counteract it.This means everything was just trial and error from day one.We were all brainwash to think that these people were sure..Achieve herd immunity and we will get rid of Covid 19. A doctor had warned that herd immunity would result in strains or variants that are uncontrollable and reap havoc on the entire world.

It is a tribute to the vaccination effect that most patients hospitalized for Covid-19 are unvaccinated.

@askme123 There are a lot of nonsense theories out there and it is just not helping any one one bit. Omicron came from Africa and it happened to come from a vaccinated HIV carrier.

What a world predicament, right? Not just about the virus, but the division of people on how to go about it. Sadly I do have friends who go on with their conspiracy theories and their is no changing their thoughts about it.

@artemeis Earlier times of this pandemic, going out just to grocery shop felt like going out into a war zone. I really cannot compare, but it did seem like I was going out to battle to complete a task while avoiding the enemy. Our family still keeps up a high level of safety, however many have since become relaxed - perhaps too relaxed - and honestly I don't where we are going with this virus. We don't know exactly how this "war" ends, if it ends. Definitely there is much to be said about politicians handling (or lack of) of this pandemic .

I heard Omicron strain is not as deadly as that of Covid's second wave strain was. This was declared in News Channel, not sure if this is true for all over the world

I am going to say that right now the leading country is trying to play down the severity of things to avoid panic. It is already evident that the strain is even more lethal than before and if not why is there even a red list for people from these countries. I am going to advocate wearing of mask and staying away from unnecessary travels and gatherings here. No need to panic but face it with every moderation and discipline. Stay alive.

I dont know if I would call it a conspiracy theory but I still don't believe it is as bad as the governments would like us to think it is.

I have never existed in a reality where people argued so much about everything. It's crazy.

The safest thing now is the masks and sanitization .Everything else is just experimental. If your entire immune system was mashed up because of taking say 3 of the jabs. There is no one to blame. You just become another statistic

Playing down - is very much of all the countries involved. I can understand but don't you think we should stop suppressing the facts and approach the situation with a bit more urgency?!
