As countries start to declare their officials (you know who you are) boycotting the Winter Olympics in China over human rights issues with the Uyghrs in Xinjiang. I just want to laugh at their absurdity, lameness and stupidity here.
No offense as I couldn't help being amused by their decision to abandon their country's representatives participating in the Games. I am going to call them cowards as their boycott signals an act of abandonment of their sportsmen and sportswomen in the Games - what kind of support do you call this?
I feel all of them just don't want to come and undergo the mandatory troublesome quarantines and the tests. All cowards and lousy patriots!

I am pointing at the officials - for a team to be without a Chef de Mission, referee officials is really like an orphan. Their participants have traveled a long way to participate the least the officials could do is to accompany them - politics aside. Using Human Rights as an excuse is simply lame.
Human Rights have even proposed that the sponsors like Coca Cola and etc. consider boycotting too. Also I am sure that there’s no oppression of the Uyghurs especially the non radicalized ones. I have schoolmates there and are doing well there.

Sure I do respect that pandemic issue but to put Human Rights abuse on the table is simply lame and an act of cowardice. If Pandemic is an issue, how about their countryman and countrywoman?
Besides they are more likely to catch it where they are than in China lol,
