...your dream when you were a child. In my book, all of us have childhood dreams to be someone in the future. This concern is too hard for my Chinese young learners' students to answer. They have so many alibis before answering a simple question: 'What do you want to be in the future?' Personally, my dream was to be a dentist. It did not happen but I became a licensed Physical Therapist in my country Philippines.
What was your dream job when you were a child?
Did your dream come true?

My dream job was to be a nurse. I was a certified nurse's aide. Since then, I joined the Navy, had children, worked many jobs and now, I'm doing another dream job - writing. I started writing as a child and now I have several books published.
You never know which direction life will take you. It's all an adventure.

Oh, really! You're a PT! We belong to the same field.
When I was young I dreamt to become a doctor, but the family's finances did not make that happen. I settled for a profession in the same field though.
However, I branched out to another profession, later on.
All's well that ends well.
