A special Christmas sleigh

We have good friends who live in the same lifestyle village that we do. It was through them that we found out about this place. Unlike us, they have a number of grandchildren and will be seeing them all at Christmas. We don’t have any grandchildren and, as we get older, I guess we notice it a bit more.
My friend has made each of the grandies a little sleigh which is full of tiny sweets and chocolates. The ski parts are candy canes and she has wrapped each chocolate separately. Can’t they cute? I did ask her if she had made extra but it seems not. 
Tonight, we’re going to see A Castle for Christmas starring Brooke Shields and Cary Elwes. Has anyone seen it? It’s been given a good write-up.

The film was a feel-good movie. Very enjoyable. So do you have chocolate frogs there but of another brand? One year, for one of the boys' birthdays, I stuck frogs half in, half out, of green jelly. One little boy wouldn't eat his.

That is not nice, not nice at all. My husband "suggests" to make the white profiteroles next week, to check if I can do a good job for our anniversary.

I know the feeling - not exactly the same but - I never married or found anyone or had kids (it's ok, didn't want them), but I realize as some of my age cohort are becoming grandparents, this means I won't have that, either. I wish you much peace surrounding that.
That is a very cute and inventive little treat though and I like the idea of Freddo looks yum!
