@snowy22315 No, but if I did I’d want to be nicely attired for the occasion.

I'm sorry but I don't understand... What would it matter how you're dressed when you donate blood?

@DaddyEvil Receiving blood donated by a dishevelled specimen of humanity, no matter how well-intentioned they may be, would be so disheartening don’t you think? Sartorial elegance is so important and there is no excuse for slovenliness. I’ve even witnessed people going to vote wearing designer-ripped jeans!!! Whatever next?

It’s a cute shirt indeed. My husband loves getting shirts from when he donates his blood

@snowy22315 we got to meet a redskin at one of the blood donation days. We got a picture and singed hat and shirt. We have a few kid size ones form the when my husband goes in. Shirts, hats, stress balls. During Christmas they don’t gift cards but my husband can’t do a blood donation right now while he is healing a broken bone. Yep we got tickets to a game to. I went once to donated and let’s just say I can not donated I started getting hot and dizzy the nurse had to flip me and being food and water.

I used to donate, yes. I can't anymore because of the type of cancer I used to have. They won't accept my blood now.

They won't accept it if you are on blood thinners either.

@snowy22315 Or if your blood pressure is too high when they check you before donating.

@Dena9 Iran into that when I was donating way back when. I fixed it by eating chili and drinking orange juice at the same time. It got my levels up fast.

@snowy22315 I stopped because the last 4-5 times I tried they kept saying my iron level was too low. Even though I took iron pills and ate spinach before attempting to donate.

No, I don't . I'm not a fan of needles in general. I also would hate to go through that, and find out my blood isn't any good. I would rather not take the chance. I take colosterol and pain medicine.

They screen you before they take it to see if your donation can be used.

I have never donated blood. I think there is still much to be done.
