Getting Ready To Work, and Other Ramblings.

Actually, I sort of started my work. When I do enough orders with a client, or enough types of orders, I kind of create a little “template” in my head. It may be the introduction, subtitles or lists and the conclusion. I already have my template typed out on WordPad, so I’ll start the article itself after I submit this post. My work today is going to consist of a bunch of longer orders, as I don’t think my usual team of 250-word orders is going to add anything this week (what with the holidays), but we’ll see what happens. Otherwise, I’m working on these 1,250-word orders for another team, as well as a 1,300-word direct order from another client. I would love if these other teams add more of their 700-word orders, as they usually include a range of topics. But I also realized these longer orders are accepted quicker than some of the shorter orders, so it's fine. I’m also listening to music right now. Yes, New Kids On The Block, @JimBo452020 lol. I haven’t been listening to much music in general though. I’ve mainly been watching the same few Christmas specials, but this just gave me an idea for another post, for another day… this week lol. I kind of wanna watch “A Very Brady Christmas” again, so maybe I’ll watch it in bed if I lie down early enough. Anywho, I have headphones on. Two of my brother’s kids are here for a few more hours, and my older sister needs to go out (she was watching them, but asked me to watch them later until their Mom gets here), so I’ll unplug my headphones once my sister and brother-in-law leave. Their Mom gets off at 5pm and her work isn’t that far, so it’s not like I’m gonna have them for six hours. If I do, their Momma and I are gonna have a talk lol. :) But it’s all good right now. My 12yr old niece is happy to have them here. :) Alrighty, it’s time to get this order off the ground. My next cashout from Textbroker is tomorrow night, so I’d like to get these orders done and submitted asap. You all take care and I’ll try to be back later. Photo Credit: Pixabay.

I guess it just depends on who you ask, if it's a good site or not. What were the bad reviews saying?

@RubyHawk Oooh. I was just curious. It's not a perfect site, but it works for me. Plus I supplement it with Fiverr, and I may try to branch out to other sites in the New Year.

@tammys85 mostly that they paid poorly and skipped over a lot of writers. You can check it out. Evidently it doesn’t apply to you.

Thank yooou! I'm gonna try to get as much done in a reasonable amount of time as I can. I pulled an all-nighter Sunday into Monday and I just cannot do that again.

It's nice to have the kiddos there. Even when they start to drive you nuts or stay longer than planned lol

Instead of a template, I always have a lesson plan in my head. Or a song or two. That's what happens when you're a music teacher.

I used to write for Textbroker but didn't go on it for about 1 year and now my account is gone. I wonder if I can sign up again. Have you ever signed up for Textbroker, left, and then come back again? The pay wasn't that great, but the nice thing was the payout was every week. That was super great. Especially if I needed money in a hurry. Sounds like Textbroker is working out well for you.

I've been consistently on Textbroker for about 10yrs. I've taken breaks to deal with personal stuff (i.e., anxiety, grief, etc.), but I still logged in out of curiosity so my account was still active. I would say to just try signing up again. The worst they'll do is tell you not to do that. Or you could contact them about reopening your account. If you need me to get you an email or something, please shoot me a message (in case I miss notifications).
