The gardening set looks good! We have always been complaining about the hot weather in Malaysia here, but I think it's even hotter in Summer over there, right? I suppose you all had wonderful Christmas dinner together.

@JudyEv It's humid in Malaysia. I still remember when I studied in Australia, I couldn't really stand the heat and dryness during Summer, though I really enjoyed the winter. My first time experienced winter and snow.

Yes, anymore no one seems to do more than buy gift cards instead of actual gifts. I'm sure your SIL will really like that gift.

@JudyEv We’re hovering around 7C, it’s just after 8 and still dark and we’re about to set out for Church for a Christmas sing. When we get back we’ll suffer an invasion of angelic grandchildren for one hour then, in the quiet gloom relieved by twinkling Christmas tree lights, we’ll sit down to lamb roasted in a garlic, anchovy and rosemary paste.

Merry Christmas I know the feeling. It's just me and my mom together. And to make it sad, eversince I got sick I haven't been working regularly. I'm sad, that I still couldn't work so I couldn't buy my mom a present. The only present I could give her is to bake and cook for her.
