How many actually go for a walk, instead of sweating on the treadmill. Actually, I have read two or three incidents of heart attacks while running on a treadmill. I think there is no scientific proof that it happens due to running or walking on a treadmill. As in the states, there is cold weather so people would be using more of treadmill, but when the weather is favorable what do you do?

I'm in a wheelchair and can only walk short distances. So my physical walking is limited to around my house. When I do go out, because I'm unbalanced and have trouble walking on uneven surface's I am in my wheelchair. My husband jokingly calls it my "ride" because my hands do the walking (it's a manual wheelchair). And, by the time I get up, get ready, it's mid afternoon. Living in Florida, that's the best time, because I can be out in the daylight and not have to worry about when the sun will set.

I'm unable to walk very far; so I don't walk on the treadmill or outside.
