Usually every Christmas, people will buy gifts to be given to their children, siblings, parents and other family members, as well as their friends.
Does this happen to you too? Do you always give Christmas gifts to your family every Christmas? Or do you yourself always get gifts or Christmas gifts at every Christmas celebration?

You stopped buying me Christmas gifts because you don't like to spend money on your friends.

I get a Christmas gift if I buy myself one. I always buy one for Pretty but this year she refused to let me buy one for her. *shrug*

@sinari Up until my mid-40s, I was given lots of gifts. After that, I only get them if I buy them.

We only have one person to buy a gift for; and we don't get any gifts at Christmas. Hubs and I don't exchange gifts anymore.

@sinari I agree. I have a roof over my head, food on the table, money to pay the bills, clothing on my back and a good husband. Happy New Year!

Yes. I think the real celebration of Christmas doesn't have to be about gifts or Christmas presents. But the real Christmas is, that we still have the joy of Christmas in our lives. Because every day we receive countless gifts from the Creator, namely our life, our breath. So without Christmas gifts we have to stay happy.
