Had to go out and defrost the bird bath earlier today. It was frozen over by the snow.
The birds appreciated as they visited as soon as they had fresh water.
Also had to move the snow on the deck to find the peanut feeder.
Took care of the birds today as always. Some of the snow is melting.
But the high was only 38 F today.
Photo is mine.

@CarolDM Now that Kobe is gone, turkeys come into our back yard each day.

I am not sure if the birds would use a bird bath around where I live. there is a small pond near to where I live that they could use.

That is very nice of you to defrost the bird bath outside of your home today and gave them fresh water.

@CarolDM You are welcome since my relatives do our part to take care of the outside birds by leaving food for them.

I didn't think birds could survive winter where you are.

@CarolDM No rain, no sleet or dark of night will keep birds from Carol's free bird bathing service!

Oh, poor birds. I'm glad you managed to defrost the bird bath, and uncover the peanut feeder.

@sharonelton I enjoy seeing them year round, I only feed them in the winter.

Ick. Glad the sn*w is melting. They’re predicting more sn*w later this week. Boo.
But it’s pretty, I have to say!

That picture makes me shiver. We only have about an inch or so on the ground. More winter weather coming next week. Highs around 18 next week. Brrrrrrr.

Oh my, that does look like a lot of snow. How much did you get? We only got a dusting, and I was very disappointed.
