My Hair Appointment was Just Canceled

What to do?
My hairdresser called to cancel my appointment on Wednesday. He and his husband both tested positive for covid. He entertained for Christmas and New Year’s Eve and that’s that.
He wants me to come in next week, but hopefully I will be in Florida.
My hairdresser in Florida is closed today, but hopefully she can squeeze me in sometime while I’m down there.
Otherwise, I will have a long wait.
No matter what, I’m going to try to get fairy hair again. My last twinkle fell out last week.
What’s a girl to do?

@averygirl72 I couldn’t find anyone to do it except in Florida. Believe me, I looked and asked around.

I have two beauticians, also. If one can't fit me in, the other lady usually can. I love your fairy hair, it looks very pretty!

I hope you can get your hair done soon. I got my hair cut in Florida in May 2020 and then did not get my hair cut again until last month. And I live in New York. But I live in a senior complex, so my hairdresser makes house calls.

Wow! We escaped Florida and drove straight home to Connecticut May 3rd or 4th. It was getting bad with covid then and our flight home was cancelled.
You are lucky to have a hairdresser come to you. If need be, I will just have to wait until I return home. Only staying for 2 weeks.

@Chellezhere Depends on what part of Florida you’re in. We have a condo in Palm Beach County. Things were getting very bad in Miami and Boca Raton in May 2020.
Hopefully, we will return for a couple of months this winter and early spring.

@DianneN Hmm. That's weird because my brother is a respiratory therapist at a trauma hospital in Florida, and back in May, he told me the numbers were low, and the only people on ventilators were gunshot victims.
Oh? That's good. Two weeks isn't long at all.
