Roses and a riddle

We moved to our gated village in May but it was some months before we managed to buy some pots and plants to brighten up the yard.
We started off with three rose bushes, two creepers and a few bits and pieces. The roses all flowered and I cut off the blooms as they died. Now there is another crop of flowers appearing.
The one in the photo is called Origami and what you see is what passers-by see when they walk along the footpath. There aren’t quite as many flowers on our side of the fence but that’s okay. Flowers and plants certainly brighten up a place, don’t they?
Oh – and before Christmas gets too far away, here is a Christmas riddle: How does Santa Claus like his pizza?
Deep pan, crisp and even of course. If English isn’t your first language, there is a line in a carol’ where the snow lays round about, Deep and crisp and even’.

@JudyEv Who took the photo isn't important. The roses are still beautiful.

@BarBaraPrz You didn't put a smiley - or were you looking for a groan emoji and couldn't find one?

I love seeing flowers growing. Never have liked getting cut flowers. Once they die it's sad they have gone and you just have a mess. But growing is beautiful.
