3rd shot, did you have side effects?

I received the 3rd shot of Pfizer vaccine today. For the first time it hurt a lot the moment she stuck the needle in my arm. It seemed to me that the needle got a tendon or a nerve. The nurse immediately brought ice to put in my arm, I think she noticed that something went wrong. Needless to say that now whole my arm hurts but otherwise I am fine, let's see tomorrow... Did you have side effects when you received the 3rd shot?

Yes. Upset stomach, slight fever and the spot where we got the shot hurt for several days afterward. Edit to add: Most places tell people to take paracetamol if they experience pain at the site of the shot.

I am sorry that you had so many side effects. My arm is quite sore but so far I have nothing more but I know that only tomorrow I will know. Yes, they recommend paracetamol here too.

I'm sorry to hear that your arm hurts. That definitely couldn't have been pleasant. I get my booster on February 4. Hopefully I don't have any side effects.

I had the same sore arm as before, and also sore arm pit. I assume that was lymph nodes making antibodies, so a good reaction!

Many friends also had the sore and nodes in their armpit, that is scary for me.

@nela13 it's a good thing! Your body is making the antibodies.

@nela13 I never have problems with getting shots. Each shot I had from Pfizer I just had a sore arm and then it left. I hope you will feel better tomorrow. Good think the nurse did something. I am getting my 4ht next week.

@nela13 I hope this is the last shot we have to get. I read that we may have a vaccine in March against Omnicron so was going to wait but now getting the 4th shot.

I am not yet received a notification for the third vaccine, the queue seems long enough to manage hundreds of millions of people, after all, my second vaccine is not yet 6 months.

The only thing that I noticed on the third shot was that my arm was a little sore where they gave the shot and a little swollen. It did not last very long.
