I love eating apples. As you know eating an apple a day will keep the doctor away! That's why me and my hubby decided when we moved to courtyard, to plant few varieties of apple trees. After 2 years, they start to give a lots of fruits.Which is amazing. Apples can be used in many ways: from fresh fruits, juice, to compot, and jams. I love to eat apple pie. It is so tasty and full of good calories LOL I hope this year will be a good year for apple trees!

I love eating apples also. And you are right, they are very good for you. Some day I hope to live on some land with some already established apple trees.

@carina75 mine are golden delicious but they gave black spots that grow on them. It doesn’t hurt anything to peel the skin off and eat them but it doesn’t look very pretty.,

I like apples too. I've not seen people planting apples here but they are many in the market. Nice photo. One apple here costs $0.30 and some are half a dollar

That's great that apples grow fairly well in your yard. They don't do so in our neck of the woods. They're delicious and healthy too, so It's one food that I would want everyday, and that I want to cultivate in my own backyard. But it's not possible.

I eat apples now and then but not very often. We used to have an apple tree in the bottom of our garden but my parents had it chopped down!
