Question: 'What was it like when you were still a student?'

Let me share my nerdy or geeky things during my school days. I tend to be one because it needs me to maintain good grades for being in a scholarship program before. Besides the point, I am so driven to finish my major. It is a ticket to having good jobs in the future, which I had some right after graduating my university. Don't get me wrong. I did some fun with my batchmates, such as drinking, outing, etc. But I put my studies first before doing these things. 'What memorable experiences did you have?' Image Credit: thumbs.dreamstime.com

The adventures of youth! I think we all had something like that! After a night of fun, instead of taking the train in one direction, I went to the other about 200 km.

I can feel you with that concern. I wish I could still bond with my old friends. Are you still in contact with them?

@soymex I can relate to that. Most of my college friends or batchmates are so busy in their lives lately. In addition, they are living in other countries.

If I am going to take another master's degree, I will definitely study hard for it. Thanks for reminding me of the future.

I'm still studying up to this time. One thing is constant, I lack focus, but I will be able to regain that after sometime especially when the exams is fast approaching. In other words I am a crammer.

I used to be a crammer like you. But I do sometimes perfect the exams or quizzes for doing it.

What I loved the most were the school events like fancy fairs, outings, sports day and so on

Good you put your studies first Shavvie. In grade school was my best memory of discipline for 8 years of study. After that, I attended public school and had fun all the time as well as learning. I also had my first love. For a minute only Nothing bad only looking haha

I used to love discussion with my friend. We used to talk during class and hold for each other a chair before class begins so we could sit next to each other. My grades were good since discussion helped me understand things I didn't. I enjoyed the years I was a student

My wonderful teachers that asked me what happened to my grades when I started failing from problems at home. I remember how they tried to help me.

I was studying in the times that we still respected rules and regulations. I am glad that I am not studying today.

To me school was dreadful, inadequate, and a complete waste of time. Nothing I learned in school really benefited me at all. Most of what I have learned in life that is of value came outside of school and has proved THE most valuable education I could ever have.

Some of my teachers are lousy ones and I do not listen to them but read the books before going to classes instead.

Why the change of heart? My premed is PT. I did not pursue to be a doctor because of some constraints in life before.

I was then academically inclined and it was a success every time because I was always top 1 in the class even until graduation. I was the valedictorian of the class.
